Amanda Wium is a self-taught artist working primarily in acrylics and mixed media. Her work is rooted in themes of memory, nature, and everyday beauty—drawing inspiration from flowers, childhood moments, and close-up perspectives of the landscape.

Originally from South Africa, Amanda now lives in New Zealand, where the shift in scenery has added new depth and light to her practice. Over the past two decades, she has participated in group exhibitions and her work is held in private collections both locally and internationally.

Through painting, Amanda explores the quiet poetry of daily life—capturing small details with warmth, texture, and a deep sense of connection.
