Ruby, based in Kaiapoi, has harbored a lifelong dream of being an artist, a passion she's cultivated for over 70 years. Her artistic journey took a more serious turn two decades ago when she decided to enter the annual Kaiapoi Art Expo during its early days, and she has been a dedicated participant ever since. Ruby's diverse portfolio includes paintings and drawings across a range of subjects, from landscapes and animals to captivating abstracts.

This accomplished self-taught artist not only showcases her work but also established the Kaiapoi Creative Arts, a thriving section within the Kaiapoi Club.
