Sharon Soderberg-White Solo Show

Opening Wednesday at Fools of Desire Café Go With The Flow solo exhibition of artist Sharon Soderberg-White.

Sharon is a self-taught Canterbury-based artist. As a young mother, she explored porcelain art through classes and involvement with the Canterbury Porcelain Art Society, later teaching and exhibiting her work. After a 25-year career as an office manager, Sharon rediscovered her passion for art in retirement.

Acrylic paint is now her preferred medium, and she enjoys experimenting with fluid pouring techniques to create vibrant backgrounds. Once dry, Sharon embellishes these backgrounds with acrylic paints, incorporating various subjects that follow the flow and colours of the pour.
