I am a self taught Canterbury based artist, when my children were young I was involved with porcelain painting, which eventually led to teaching and exhibiting. After returning to the workplace as an office manager for 25 years, I took up art again when I retired. My favourite medium is acrylic. I love using colour and experimenting with the different acrylic fluid pouring techniques, I use these for my backgrounds. When my backgrounds are dry I then embellish them with acrylic paints, using various subjects, following the flow and colours of the pour.
