Claudine primarily works in watercolour, sometimes combining it with pen, and has, in the past, experimented with oil and acrylic. Though mostly self-taught, she has attended various classes and workshops over the years, learning new techniques and refreshing her artistic inspiration. Her paintings are usually highly detailed, and she has recently been experimenting with painting on watercolour canvases, preparing the surfaces herself to achieve the exact finish she desires.

Being highly organised, Claudine ensures her workspace is ready before she begins painting—fresh water in the jars, the table neatly arranged, coffee in hand, a movie playing in the background, or music that she likes to tap along to.
